The Fyzz Facility
The Fyzz Facility works with filmmakers to offer bespoke financing for film production across a wide range of budgets and genres. Since its formation in 2010, the company has partnered with leading sales agents, talent agents and producers to bring more than $85m of investment into over 100 feature films with an aggregate production spend in excess of $800 million. No two projects are the same and all investment opportunities are analysed and assessed in a pragmatic fashion to ensure the best possible financing solution for all parties involved. This meticulous approach is applied regardless of whether funding is for development, bridging pre-production or production finance.
Co-financed projects include CAKE starring Jennifer Aniston, Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington, HEIST starring Robert De Niro, the feature adaptation of I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER starring Christopher Lloyd and Max Records and the Kurt Russell starrer cult Western BONE TOMAHAWK. Forthcoming titles include Martin Scorsese’s historical thriller SILENCE starring Liam Neeson and Andrew Garfield, the Weinstein Company backed 47 METERS DOWN starring Mandy Moore and Claire Holt, MR. CHURCH with Britt Robertson and Eddie Murphy, 478 with Arnold Schwarzenegger and adaptations of the New York Times bestseller THE YELLOW BIRDS starring Jack Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Toni Collette, Tye Sheridan and Alden Ehrenreich and Elmore Leonard’s BANDITS which will star Bruce Willis. Most recently the company co-funded WIND RIVER starring Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner and THE COMEDIAN starring Robert De Niro, Leslie Mann and Danny DeVito.
In addition to its financing arm The Fyzz Facility is a prolific development and production company in its own right. In the past two and a half years the company has developed, financed and produced a total of seven independent feature films. Including the BAFTA nominated THE SURVIVALIST from writer/director Stephen Fingleton and A PATCH OF FOG, the debut from BAFTA winning and Oscar nominated director Michael Lennox. At present TFF is in post-production on ALLEYCATS an urban thriller starring Eleanor Tomlinson, John Hannah and John Lynch and the STX-backed thriller THE FOREIGNER adapted by David Marconi, directed by Martin Campbell and starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan.
The Fyzz Facility is currently developing a slate of film and television projects and will produce Scott Mann’s (HEIST) feature film project FINAL SCORE this summer with Signature Entertainment. The company has recently announced that prolific producers Mark Lane and James Harris have joined as directors of The Fyzz Facility Pictures Limited alongside Managing Directors Jones and Godfrey. Philip Waeland joins the development team headed by Emma Lamont.
